Prime Video has released the official trailer for Bait, a new comedy led by Oscar-winning Riz Ahmed that streams March 25. Ahmed stars as Shah Latif, a struggling actor who lands an audition to be the next James Bond, and what could be his big break quickly spirals into chaos as the world debates whether he is the right person for the role.

The six-episode series follows four hectic days as Shah, joined by family and an ex-lover with differing opinions, pursues the part. The cast also includes Guz Khan, Sheeba Chaddha, Aasiya Shah, Sajid Hasan, Ritu Arya, and Werunche Opia. Ahmed wrote and executive produced Bait, while Bassam Tariq and Tom George split directing duties.

The executive producing team also includes Allie Moore, Jake Fuller, and Ben Karlin. The series arrives as Amazon develops a James Bond reboot, with Denis Villeneuve set to direct a film based on a script by Steven Knight.
