Balatro's long-awaited 1.1 update is still in the works

LocalThunk, the mostly solo developer behind Balatro, says he is still working on the game's long-awaited 1.1 release — a major gameplay update.

He confirms this in a new blog post mainly dedicated to his game dev origins, which he closes with: "Happy 2nd birthday, Balatro. P.S. Yes I'm still working on 1.1."

The entry serves as both a look back at his development history and an update on the ongoing work for 1.1.
