Barbie Ferreira Trades Euphoria for Love and Ambition in Mile End Kicks

Chandler Levack returns with her sophomore feature Mile End Kicks, a coming‑of‑age musical drama that follows a close‑knit group of friends chasing success in the entertainment industry. The film stars Barbie Ferreira (Euphoria) alongside Devon Bostick and Stanley Simons.

Ferreira plays Grace Pine, who leaves her hometown for Montreal intending to write a book about Alanis Morissette’s Jagged Little Pill. Her plans shift after she falls for members of an indie rock band called Bone Patrol — Archi (Bostick) and Chevy (Simons) — and puts the book on hold to become the band’s publicist.

Our exclusive first look captures Ferreira holding a recorder up to Simons in an intense, intimate moment between their characters. The supporting cast includes Jay Baruchel, Robert Naylor, Juliette Gariépy, Emily Lê, Hasani Freeman, Isaiah Lehtinen and Magi Merlin.
