Barcelona intend to sign Marcus Rashford permanently
According to Goal, Barcelona intend to sign England forward Marcus Rashford permanently at the end of the season after his loan move from Manchester United.
Rashford joined the Liga champions on loan over the summer after being ostracised by then-Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim; Amorim's exit earlier this week had raised the possibility of a return to Old Trafford. Barcelona say they fully intend to make the move permanent following the 28-year-old's start in Spain, in which he has scored two goals and provided six assists while the club sit four points clear atop La Liga.
The loan includes a €30m option to buy that cost Barca €5m to insert, and club members voted in favour of signing Rashford permanently last month, with 54.6% support. Barcelona face Real Madrid in the Supercopa de Espana on Sunday as they continue their season while the permanent transfer decision is expected at the end of the campaign.
