Manchester City may be without Bernardo Silva for the April Etihad clash with Arsenal, a match that could well decide the Premier League title. The Portugal international has been booked eight times this season and two more yellow cards would trigger a two-match suspension.

Silva has featured in all 27 Premier League games, starting 23, and has picked up bookings in each of his last three league matches; he will want to avoid extending that run on Saturday when City travel to Leeds United. Silva is one of City’s most decorated players, having won six Premier League titles, two FA Cups, four League Cups and the Champions League.

Guardiola has praised his contribution beyond goals and assists, calling him “absolutely one of the best players I have ever trained in my career.” Out of contract at the end of the season, Silva has an uncertain future.
