Best of MWC 2026: We found the biggest news from Lenovo, Xiaomi, Honor, more
Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2026 has kicked off, coming after the latest flagship reveals from Samsung and Google and shifting the conversation toward the breakthrough trends and hardware that will define the rest of the year. Industry giants like Xiaomi and Honor dominated the exhibition floor over the weekend, while Google and Samsung appear focused more on ecosystem integration than new hardware.
The showfloor runs March 2 to March 5, with tickets available for about $1,028. Early highlights included Unihertz's Titan 2 Elite, a retro-styled smartphone with a 4.05-inch OLED screen and a QWERTY keyboard; its Kickstarter opens this month. T‑Mobile unveiled the Magenta AI Call Assistant, built to perform live translations, summarize calls and ask questions on behalf of users, with the feature arriving first for Deutsche Telekom customers in Germany.
Lenovo showed a proof-of-concept gaming handheld, the Legion Go Fold, whose POLED display expands from 7.7 inches to 11.6 inches and supports multiple modes with detachable controllers.
