Better Call Saul actor quits Amazon job, seeks new non-acting work

John Christian Love said he quit his Amazon delivery job a few days ago and is now interviewing for other non-acting roles while continuing to chase acting work. He had posted on Reddit about driving a delivery truck and told followers he applied to several positions before handing in his notice.

Love said the rural routes were damaging his body because of pre-existing scoliosis and Scheuermann’s disease. He added that acting alone has never covered his expenses, despite appearing in 11 episodes of Better Call Saul, and that he has always balanced his craft with regular jobs, pouring “110 percent” into each.

He recounted setbacks in his film work, including the production of Lone Wolf stopping in February 2025 because the company ran out of money and he was never paid. The death of his brother while working a day job has driven him to keep pursuing larger opportunities.
