House House began work on Big Walk during the COVID lockdown, turning the feeling of getting lost in nature with friends into a cooperative video game. Set to launch on PlayStation 5 and Windows PC later this year, Big Walk offers a relaxed co-op where players wander a large world and solve small, team-focused puzzles.

It isn’t like Animal Crossing: New Horizons, but aims to capture some of that hang-out energy with House House’s brand of comedy. Players start in a small tutorial hub and are greeted by the developers, who appear as the game’s spherical player characters; the studio says the creatures don't have official names and wants players to build that language themselves.

The demo teaches movement, picking up objects, proximity chat and playful tricks like clanging cowbells, then lets groups roam an open-ended world with a day-night cycle and customization stations for painting body segments.
