A streak of inflows into US spot Bitcoin ETFs ended Thursday when BTC slipped below $71,000, producing $228 million in net outflows and halting a three-day gain of about $1.1 billion. Weekly inflows remained around $917.3 million heading into Friday, while year-to-date net flows showed roughly $900 million in outflows.

Cumulative inflows in 2026 stood at $3.58 billion against $4.49 billion in cumulative outflows, and total assets under management stayed above $90 billion. Farside data placed BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) at the top of the outflows with $89 million, followed by Fidelity’s Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC) at $48 million and the Bitwise Bitcoin ETF (BITB) at $46 million.

CryptoQuant described the rally above $73,000 as "likely just a relief rally" rather than the start of a new bull phase, an assessment that lines up with forecasts that BTC could fall below $60,000 amid the ongoing crypto winter.
