Bitfarms to Sell 70 MW Paraguay Mining Site to Hawksburn-Managed Fund as It Exits Latin America
Bitfarms has signed a purchase agreement to sell its 70 MW Paso Pe mining site in Paraguay to Sympatheia Power Fund, which is managed by Hawksburn Capital.
The deal is valued at up to $30 million, with up to $21 million available through milestone payments. Bitfarms said it expects the transaction to close in the first quarter of 2026.
The company said the sale is part of its exit from Latin America as it shifts focus to high-performance computing and artificial intelligence operations in North America.
