Bitfarms Agrees to Sell 70 MW Paraguay Site as It Exits Latin America
Bitfarms has signed a purchase agreement to sell its 70 MW Paso Pe site in Paraguay to Sympatheia Power Fund, which is managed by Hawksburn Capital, for up to $30 million.
The company said it expects the deal to close in Q1 2026 and noted there could be up to $21 million in milestone payments tied to the transaction.
Bitfarms described the sale as part of its exit from Latin America as it refocuses on North American high-performance computing and AI operations.
