BlackRock’s IBIT backs Delaware Life bitcoin annuity for U.S. retirees

BlackRock’s IBIT will back a new bitcoin annuity offered to U.S. retirees through Delaware Life, the companies said.

According to the companies, the product is a first-of-its-kind FIA that offers crypto exposure together with principal protection.

The companies said the FIA is aimed at attracting cautious investors nearing retirement by combining crypto exposure with principal protection.
