Blind date: the best thing about her? Super easy to talk to

Freya and Greg met for dinner at Rossella in London NW5. Freya found him warm and gentle and thought he resembled Stephen from The Traitors, while Greg remembered her as kind, funny and instantly attracted to the tiramisu.

They covered hiking, conservation, Bob Dylan, ghosts, Matty Healy, chaotic SpareRoom stories and live music. An awkward moment came when Greg approached a group of men eating dinner, thinking they were staff, and both ordered elaborate pasta dishes while keeping good table manners.

Freya liked that they shared many interests and was impressed that Greg had survived a black bear encounter. Greg said she was super easy to talk to and pretty. After dinner they went to a pub where Freya had a Diet Coke; there was no kiss, only a hug and a hurried exit on the tube.

Both gave the evening a 10 out of 10 and would meet again: Freya to eat more and tell more ghost stories, Greg to hear those stories away from a screeching train and with a less rushed goodbye.
