‘Blood Ties’ trailer teases brutal revenge thriller due in US April 30

A new trailer for Ikatan Darah, also titled Blood Ties, has arrived ahead of a US theatrical release next month. Produced by Iko Uwais’ Uwais Pictures in partnership with Legacy Pictures and KG Pictures, the film aims for the visceral action and hard-hitting choreography associated with Uwais; he does not appear on screen but his influence is central.

Directed by Sidharta Tata, Ikatan Darah stars Livi Ciananta as a former martial arts athlete who must go to war with loan sharks and the mob to rescue her younger brother, who is trapped in online gambling debt. The supporting cast includes Derby Romero, Ismi Melinda, T. Rifnu Wikana, Abdurrahman Arif, Rama Ramadhan and Agra Piliang.

The film debuted at Fantastic Fest and drew praise for its relentless fight sequences. Dread Central called it “an unforgettable tale of revenge,” awarding 4.5/5, while Cinapse recommended it to action fans for its “gnarly, well-captured melee action.” Ikatan Darah is due in US theaters on April 30, 2026.
