Bobbi Brown says she created a 'better lip gloss' anyone can wear

Bobbi Brown set out to remake Jones Road’s lip gloss after a production change left the previous Cool Glosses with a different consistency. 'I obsess about every little detail,' she says, and when the new texture didn’t match the original she adds, 'I panicked.

So we started the project of, ‘What if we could create a better lip gloss and what could be?'' The result is the Lip Recharge Glossy Balm, a gloss-treatment hybrid that fans have greeted enthusiastically and given a near-perfect rating. The balm-glosses are described as juicy and non-sticky, with a faint vanilla mint scent and a light feel on the lips while still providing nourishment and firming benefits.

Shades include a second iteration of Me, a bespoke nude-brown tailored to Brown’s preferences, and nine 'universal, casually sheer shades' she says 'anyone can wear.' Even the brighter colors leave a wash of color that 'never looks overdone.' Ingredients such as peptides, vitamin E and shea butter are cited for their lip-care properties.
