Boltgun 2 adds Slaanesh as all four Chaos gods appear

The latest trailer for Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 confirms Slaanesh will join the roster of foes alongside the previously revealed servants of Khorne, Tzeentch and Nurgle. Nurgle, who has proven a popular videogame villain and featured in the original Boltgun with mischievous nurglings, will return with familiar grotesque minions.

Footage spotlights Slaanesh's daemonettes as fast-moving purple silhouettes and also shows space marines from the Emperor's Children legion. The trailer even prompts thoughts of noise marines, who fight with electric guitars, appearing in the sequel.

Nurgle's Death Guard and poxwalkers are on display too, presented in a style very similar to the miniatures. The game will pit players against servants of all four Chaos gods.

Boltgun 2 will feature two protagonists — Ultramarine Malum Caedo and Sister of Battle Nyra Veyrath — in a singleplayer campaign with branching paths, and is due out later this year on Steam.
