Bones, teeth and car key found in Tasmanian search for Celine Cremer
Tasmania police found five bones, teeth and a Honda car key during a two-day search of the Arthur River area, where Celine Cremer is believed to have disappeared. The items were about 2km from Philosopher Falls, near Cradle Mountain, the last place the 31-year-old visited in June 2023.
The discovery followed a late-January breakthrough when officers located human remains and items of clothing thought to have belonged to Cremer. In December a bushwalking group found her phone, and in January clothing including a polar fleece jacket, a thermal top and a bra were recovered.
Cremer was reported missing by her family on 26 June 2023; her car was found in the Philosopher Falls car park a day later. The car key has been formally verified as hers.
