Boston singer Tommy DeCarlo dead at 60
Tommy DeCarlo, the lead singer for the rock band Boston, has died. He was 60. DeCarlo’s children, Annie, Talia & Tommy Jr., confirmed his passing in a Facebook post on Monday. "It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our Dad, Tommy DeCarlo, on Monday, March 9th, 2026," the statement began.
"After being diagnosed with brain cancer last September, he fought with incredible strength and courage right up until the very end." "During this difficult time, we kindly ask that friends and fans respect our family’s privacy as we grieve and support one another," DeCarlo’s kids continued.
"Rest in peace, Dad." Before his death, his family set up a GoFundMe to cover the costs of his treatments. It has raised over $56,000 as of Monday afternoon. The page said that in September DeCarlo suffered a brain bleed and underwent an emergency craniotomy; doctors found two melanoma masses on his brain and another spot on his lungs.
