Brad Karp Says He Regrets Interactions with Epstein
Brad Karp, chairman of Paul Weiss, said he regretted social interactions with Jeffrey Epstein after newly released emails showed he socialized with the financier and at one point asked him to help his son find work on a Woody Allen film. Mr. Karp became acquainted with Mr.
Epstein largely through legal work for Leon Black. The emails were included in millions of documents the Justice Department released under the Epstein Files Transparency Act. They show Mr. Karp attended two dinners at Mr. Epstein’s New York mansion, and that after a 2015 dinner where he met Woody Allen he emailed Mr.
Epstein thanking him for "an evening I’ll never forget." The documents also show exchanges in which Mr. Epstein suggested ways to handle a former mistress of Mr. Black, recommending surveillance and raising questions about her visa status; it is unclear if Mr. Karp or Mr.
