Directed by Neil Burger and loosely based on Alan Glynn’s novel The Dark Fields, Limitless was released in 2011 and runs 105 minutes. The story follows struggling writer Eddie Morra after he gains access to NZT-48; the film grossed roughly $161.8 million worldwide against a reported $27 million budget.
Bradley Cooper stars as Eddie Morra, with Abbie Cornish as Lindy and Robert De Niro as powerful businessman Carl Van Loon. The supporting cast includes Anna Friel, Andrew Howard, Johnny Whitworth, Robert John Burke, Darren Goldstein, Ned Eisenberg, and T.V. Carpio.
