Bridgerton Season 4 takes dark turn as John Stirling dies

With the final four episodes of Season 4 Part 2, Bridgerton wraps Benedict and Sophie’s story and reveals that Penelope’s retired column is being continued by an anonymous new Lady Whistledown. The season also delivers an unexpected blow: Francesca’s husband, John Stirling, suddenly dies of an aneurysm while taking a nap.
