Pcgamer reports that new footage of Brigador Killers, the sequel to isometric mech sim Brigador, makes the game look markedly different from its predecessor and evokes Syndicate and original Grand Theft Auto; the original Brigador is 10 years old this year.

According to the Steam page, you play as a "down and out nobody" who sets out to become a one-man army and "kill some rich pricks who ruined it for the rest of us." From a Garage homebase you select mission types ranging from salvage runs to combat missions, with play that is described as more tactical than Brigador's earlier destructive assaults: players can sneak past guards, loot inventories for weapons and gadgets, and expand their arsenal.

Pedestrian play and vehicle commandeering are central, with options from tuktuks to dune buggies shown in footage; mechs do not appear in the clips, and Stellar Jockeys has not said mechs are absent, so mech piloting is presumably a later-game feature. There is no Steam release date, but an in-development version is available to buy on Itch for $25.
