Bristol Palin reveals plan to fix 'crazy' and 'embarrassing' facial paralysis

Bristol Palin said she was meeting with a plastic surgeon in Austin to discuss treatment for her facial paralysis, sharing the update in an Instagram Stories video. “I’m going to have a consultation today with a plastic surgeon in Austin,” she said, adding that she had read the doctor “specializes in facial paralysis type stuff so we’ll see what she says.” She asked followers for “prayers” that the doctor can fix her left eye, explaining, “When I smile or when I’m expressive, it closes.” Palin called the eye “so embarrassing to me,” saying “it looks crazy” and makes her feel she “can’t even smile.” She said she’s hopeful “maybe Botox or plastic surgery” can help and noted the condition has lasted for more than a year.

A few hours after the consultation she said the “appointment went well” and that she would share more updates soon.
