Brittany Snow says The Hunting Wives season 2 will be more steamy
People reports that Brittany Snow told E! Live from the Red Carpet ahead of the 2026 Golden Globes on Jan. 11 that the upcoming second season of Netflix's The Hunting Wives will be "more steamy" than the first.
On E!, Snow — 39 — said, "Oh, it's just as steamy. It's more steamy, actually. We've filmed some scenes, we've played some Reneé Rapp. We got into a groove. We're doing it." She added, "A lot of things happen this season that are very shocking, I will say. It's gonna leave people very angry but in a sexy way." Snow stars as Sophie O’Neil, who moves to Texas and falls in with an elite group led by Margo Banks (Malin Akerman). Season 1 premiered in July and brought in 20 million views in its first five weeks; the series was renewed for a second season in September.
Netflix says season 2 will be based on an original script after season 1 was based on May Cobb's book; a logline says the new season picks up with Sophie and Margo "on the outs," and "But soon enough, old secrets and new foes force them back together. As they play their dangerous games, the question arises: Are they the hunters or the hunted?" Showrunner Rebecca Cutter said she "can't wait to take the audience on another sexy, twisted, bats--- crazy ride through Maple Brook" in season 2.
