Brooks Nader has already been prepping for her new 'Baywatch' role

Brooks Nader has been cast as a lifeguard in Fox’s upcoming "Baywatch" reboot and has already been preparing for the part. She has been strength training with a personal trainer in recent weeks to get ready for the franchise’s iconic red suit. In 2023 she appeared on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue in a red one-piece that echoed the look.

Nader will play Selene, a "sharp-tongued" captain of the Zuma Beach lifeguards. Production on the new series begins this spring on Venice Beach and on the Fox Studio Lot in Century City, and the cast includes Stephen Amell, Jessica Belkin, Hassie Harrison, Thaddeus LaGrone and original series star David Chokachi.
