Buffy cast mourns Nicholas Brendon: "My sweet Nicky"

Members of the Buffy the Vampire Slayer cast are remembering their co‑star Nicholas Brendon, who died at 54. Alyson Hannigan, who played Willow Rosenberg, posted a farewell on Instagram: "My Sweet Nicky, thank you for years of laughter, love and Dodgers," sharing a still from Season 6.

"I will think of you every time I see a rocking chair. I love you. RIP 💔😢." Brendon’s family announced his death in a social media statement: "We are heartbroken to share the passing of our brother and son, Nicholas Brendon. He passed in his sleep of natural causes.

Most people know Nicky for his work as an actor and for the characters he brought to life over the years." The statement added that "in recent years Nicky has found his passion in painting and art" and that his work reflected who he was.
