Stars Say Bullseye Is Even More Dangerous in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2
Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio say Wilson Bethel's Bullseye is even more dangerous in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2. The villain returned in Season 1's opening, was responsible for the death of Foggy Nelson, and later, after his release from prison, nearly killed Matt Murdock when Murdock took a bullet to save Wilson Fisk.
D'Onofrio describes Kingpin as "unaware" of everything unfolding with Bullseye and questions whether Bullseye "knows who he's in cahoots with." He called the situation confusing from his character's point of view, adding, "towards the end he does know exactly what's going on." Cox called Bullseye a "really strong element of the season" and said he had to change his approach in scenes with Poindexter.
He learned not to treat him as a rational person but "like he's a six-year-old, like he's a delusional, crazy, tantruming child," which helped the lines and delivery fall into place.
