Can the Samsung Frame Pro replace my TV? My advice after weeks of testing
Samsung’s Frame Pro continues the “Art TV” idea by doubling as a convincing piece of wall art when it’s turned off. Its matte, anti-reflection display and Pantone validation make digital artwork look remarkably like physical prints, and the set sits flush against the wall when properly installed.
Note that the Frame Pro still needs a wired power source, so a clean installation may require recessed outlets or a contractor for the tidiest result. The Pro model steps up the picture with Neo QLED’s mini‑LED backlighting and an NQ4 AI Gen3 processor, delivering brighter highlights, deeper blacks and strong HDR performance.
Color accuracy and reduced glare help make artwork and HDR content pop, though in a completely dark room you might notice a faint hint of blooming around very bright objects on pure black backgrounds. Speakers built into the slim frame handle dialogue and everyday viewing well, but they lack the bass and expansive soundstage that cinematic movies and immersive gaming demand.
