Capcom says the fiscal year ended March 31, 2025 marked its 12th consecutive year of increased operating profit, its 10th consecutive year of 10%-or-better operating profit growth, and its 8th consecutive year of record highs across all profit indicators. CEO Kenzo Tsujimoto said he believes the PC will further establish itself as the world’s leading gaming platform and that PC sales are already driving most of the company's game sales.

He added the group has worked on the PC platform from an early stage and will deepen its understanding of PC market characteristics and users to bolster development and sales strategies. The company acknowledged performance issues with a recent title and noted that after a slow run of fixes a recent patch made a difference: Steam reviews have shifted to "mostly positive" from an earlier period of mixed feedback, much of which focused on performance.

Tsujimoto also said Capcom will "step up our investment in and utilization of movies," using films to convey game worlds and act as a gateway to its IP.
