Catherine O'Hara was reportedly "in great spirits" and "looked healthy" during a brief appearance at an event for Supermodels Unlimited magazine at Lisa Vanderpump’s SUR restaurant in West Hollywood on Jan. 13, an insider told Daily Mail — about two weeks before she died on Jan. 30, Creative Artists Agency said.

The insider told Daily Mail, "As quickly as she was seen, she left, but she looked healthy for a 71 year old," describing her short outing at the SUR event. Page Six noted that months earlier O'Hara had attended Apple TV+’s Primetime Emmy Party at Los Angeles restaurant Ysabel on Sept.

14 with her husband of 33 years, Bo Welch. The actress was nominated for a 2025 Emmy for her performance as Patty Leigh on Apple TV+’s The Studio and was notably absent from this month’s Golden Globes despite the nomination. O'Hara died on Jan. 30 "following a brief illness," according to a statement from Creative Artists Agency.

Hours before her passing, paramedics responded to a call from her Brentwood home at 4:48 a.m. and rushed her to a Los Angeles hospital in "serious condition." A 911 dispatch audio obtained by Page Six said she was experiencing "breathing difficulty" when first responders were called.
