Cbssports reports the Charlotte Hornets host the Cleveland Cavaliers at the Spectrum Center on Wednesday with tipoff at 7 p.m. ET. Charlotte is 16-27 coming off a 3-2 West Coast trip that included wins over the Lakers and Nuggets; Cleveland is 24-20 but was beaten 136-104 by the Thunder on Monday. Darius Garland (toe) and Sam Merrill (hand) remain out for Cleveland.

The latest lines list the Cavaliers as 2.5-point road favorites with an over/under of 236.5 and money line odds of Cavaliers -143, Hornets +121. The SportsLine Projection Model has simulated every NBA game 10,000 times, says it has returned well over $10,000 for $100 players on top-rated NBA picks over the past eight-plus seasons, and enters Week 14 of the 2025-26 season on a 35-15 run on top-rated spread picks.

After 10,000 simulations of Cavs vs. Hornets, SportsLine's model is going Over on the total (222.5 points). The model notes Charlotte has seen four of its past five games go Over and Cleveland four of its last six; it projects 10 players to reach double figures with Donovan Mitchell and LaMelo Ball leading the scoring, and says the Over clears 63% of the time. The model also says one side of the spread hits well over 50% of the time, with its full spread pick and betting advice available at SportsLine.
