CES 2026 is delivering a steady stream of pre-show announcements as major consumer electronics brands — including Samsung, LG and Hisense — roll out products and concepts ahead of the Las Vegas trade show. ZDNET's live tracker notes a strong AI theme across categories. Samsung showcased wider AI integration across appliances and health detection, while Qualcomm unveiled a Snapdragon X2 Plus chipset for midrange laptops featuring a 10-core Oryon CPU, an updated Adreno GPU, LPDDR5x memory, Wi‑Fi 7 support and Snapdragon Guardian security.

LG previewed a return of its ultra-thin Wallpaper TV with a 165Hz refresh rate, Zero Connect box support and improved processing, though the company has not confirmed price or availability; Kerry Wan said it is likely to sit within LG's premium OLED lineup. Other highlights on ZDNET's tracker include Jackery's Solar Gazebo and Solar Mars Bot concepts, Satellai's Petsense AI for pet biometrics, SwitchBot's Onero H1 household robot, Narwal's Flow 2 robot vacuum with adaptive AI features, Project Luci's magnetic AI pin (ZDNET reported a price of approximately $99), and new e-readers, smart scales and smart glasses from several vendors.
