CES 2026 showcases eight notable audio products from headphones to car receivers
At CES 2026, exhibitors unveiled a range of audio products spanning headphones, smart speakers, smartglasses audio chips, open‑ear earbuds, modular home theater gear, brain‑computer interface headsets and an aftermarket in‑dash receiver. Highlights include Klipsch's HP‑1 closed‑back wireless ANC headphones in its Atlas lineup, featuring coaxial drivers, wood finishes and USB‑C audio support; the HP‑1 is expected to arrive this summer and ZDNET's reviewer tested it in the Las Vegas Convention Center, saying the ANC subdued background noise.
Samsung's Music Studio 7 is a 3.1.1‑channel premium Wi‑Fi speaker with an internal subwoofer and hi‑res audio up to 24‑bit/96kHz, and can be paired as rear speakers for compatible Samsung TVs; pricing and availability are not yet available. Other debuts include xMEMS's Sycamore‑N audio chip for smartglasses, replacing dynamic drivers to enable thinner frames and delivering a more spatial, airy response; the chip is not yet in products but is expected within the next year.
Victrola showed a Soundstage base for select turntables that uses dual diaphragms to cancel vibration. Shokz introduced open‑ear OpenFit Pro earbuds with noise reduction for situational awareness, noted as heavier and pricier than other options at $250. LG's modular Sound Suite (H7, M5/M7 and W7) features Dolby Atmos FlexConnect, which the company says calibrates for room irregularities.
