CES 2026 preview: TVs, smart glasses, AI wearables and new monitors
CES 2026 is fast approaching, opening its doors to journalists, analysts and industry professionals on January 6, and manufacturers are already rolling out major product news ahead of the show. Big brands including Samsung, LG and Hisense are expected to push ambitious new displays and AI-driven devices, with promises of TVs that exceed conventional specs, novel form factors and larger sizes.
RayNeo announced two smart glasses: the Air 4 Pro, which connects to phones, computers or consoles, and the X3 Pro Project eSIM, which supports a built-in 4G connection to browse the web or make calls without pairing to a phone. TCL revealed the Note A1 Nxtpaper, an 11.5-inch digital notepad that pairs a full-color LCD with a 120Hz refresh rate.
Priced at $549, it aims to compete with devices like the Kindle Scribe and ReMarkable by offering vivid, responsive visuals. Project Luci introduced a compact magnetic AI pin that records up to four hours with a 12MP ultra-wide camera and dual microphones. Using a proprietary AI model called Mavi, the device supports semantic searches of recorded life moments and includes a physical camera shutter and a local companion hub for privacy.
The price is about $99. Samsung previewed new Odyssey 6K monitors that deliver 3D playback with glasses-free eye-tracking. While 3D displays have had mixed reception in the past, Samsung's approach aims for a more realistic effect for gamers and professionals.
