Charlie Cox says he's acting in another video game

Charlie Cox, best known for playing Daredevil, has revealed he will be acting in another video game this year. He made his video game debut in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, playing protagonist Gustave in the 2025 Game of the Year, and recently admitted to knowing nothing about Expedition 33's story.

In Expedition 33, Gustave dies early, establishing him as a false lead while his death becomes a key story event and an emotional driver for Maelle, who many consider the actual lead protagonist. Cox says his next video game role is more "involved" than Expedition 33, so if it is even more prominent he is likely to be the main protagonist.

Cox also said he was surprised by the passion of video game communities. "It's something I haven't known much about, and honestly didn't realize quite how passionate the fans were, they are as passionate as the Marvel fans are. That's been really, really cool," he said, ending with a nod to Gustave's performance capture artist, Maxence Cazorla.
