Chelsea have lodged an opening bid of about £43 million to sign Vitor Roque, the Brazilian forward who struggled during a brief spell at Barcelona before finding form again with Palmeiras. Mundo Deportivo names the player nicknamed "Tigrinho" as a primary target for the Blues ahead of the summer window.

Barcelona sold Roque to Palmeiras in February 2025 for a fixed €25.5m plus €5m in variables and kept a 20 per cent sell-on clause. That percentage would fall to 10 per cent if Palmeiras sell for less than €40m, but Chelsea’s opening offer, cited at roughly €50m, would leave Barcelona on track to receive the full 20 per cent.

Palmeiras are holding out for a higher fee. BolaVip says a departure could happen for the right proposal, yet key figures at Allianz Parque view the initial €50m valuation as insufficient for a player who has become central to their attack. Roque has five goals and one assist in 13 appearances this campaign.
