Chicago Fire Adds Jeanine Mason as Lucy at Firehouse 51
Jeanine Mason joins Firehouse 51 as Lucy, the new assistant to Chief Dom Pascal (Dermot Mulroney). Her onboarding had been delayed by an administrative backlog at the CFD, so her first day unexpectedly coincided with Pascal’s abrupt termination. Pascal’s departure followed heroic actions and the consequences of disobeying a Federal Agent’s orders; despite saving lives, he was removed from his post.
Lucy, bright-eyed and determined to make a good impression, introduced herself to Lt. Kelly Severide (Taylor Kinney) and quickly became absorbed in the chaotic final hours of Pascal’s tenure. Lucy moved swiftly through paperwork, submitting reports and collecting last-minute signatures as Pascal sought to leave the CFD with his hands clean.
She refused to abandon her post over an administrative error and helped finalize details until Pascal’s emotional farewell. He ultimately left his entire Chief’s office to Severide, with a CFD Fire Captain handbook on the desk as a quiet passing of the baton.
