Chief Dom Pascal, the leader of Firehouse 51, found himself in major legal trouble during the crossover with Chicago Med and Chicago P.D. A nerve agent accidentally released on a commercial flight exposed several first responders, and teams raced to locate the salvaged capsule and develop an antidote.

Pascal teamed with FBI Agent Hailey Upton and Hank Voight to provide backup on the high-stakes arrest. The investigation led to Thomas Marr’s apartment, which had been rigged with motion-triggered bombs meant to destroy computers and other evidence. After an explosion forced the feds to retreat, Pascal arrived and ignored FBI Special Agent Conway’s order to stand down, putting on his firefighting gear to retrieve whatever evidence he could.

Conway then ordered his arrest for obstruction of a criminal investigation; later, Mouch discovered a burned router in Pascal’s gear and handed it to Voight.
