Chris Pratt's 124-Minute Sci-Fi Blockbuster Heads to Netflix
Chris Pratt's Jurassic World trilogy is heading to Netflix in March, beginning with the 2015 restart of the franchise that runs 124 minutes. Directed by Colin Trevorrow, Jurassic World rebooted the 1990s Jurassic Park property co-created by Steven Spielberg and was set years after the events of the original trilogy.
The film deliberately did not lean into Pratt's comic strengths, coming after his rise on Parks and Recreation and a turn in Kathryn Bigelow's Zero Dark Thirty. Produced on a reported budget of more than $200 million, the movie broke The Avengers' record for the biggest domestic opening weekend and went on to gross more than $1.6 billion worldwide.
