Five months after its theatrical debut, Shelby Oaks will arrive on Hulu beginning Apr. 17. Released last October by Neon, much of the film's $1 million-plus production budget was secured through Kickstarter by writer-director Chris Stuckmann, who is best known for his YouTube channel with more than 2 million subscribers.

The cast includes Camille Sullivan, Brendan Sexton III, Keith David, Sarah Durn and Derek Mears. The story follows Sullivan's character, Mia, determined to find her sister Riley after she disappears while investigating an abandoned town; the film blends supernatural horror and mystery in a slow-burn, atmospheric style.

Shelby Oaks earned a little over $6 million at the box office during its run, with Mike Flanagan serving as executive producer.
