Amazon Game Studios has reportedly lost its studio head, Christoph Hartmann, as the company implements further layoffs. Bloomberg reporter Jason Schreier says Hartmann "is leaving the company."

This comes as Amazon makes a further 16,000 company-wide layoffs following 14,000 job cuts in October.

Bloomberg's Schreier notes Hartmann previously served as head of 2K before joining Amazon Game Studios.

Hartmann has also been noted in coverage for saying games "don't really have acting," a comment highlighted in recent reporting.

The Bloomberg report is the source of the news; further details about timing, reasons or succession were not provided in that report.
