Memento, Christopher Nolan’s breakout psychological thriller, arrives on HBO Max starting today.

Memento was Nolan’s second feature and a collaboration with his brother Jonathan Nolan. Its intense, puzzle-driven approach helped define the director’s appetite for thrill and informed later work ranging from The Dark Knight to Inception, Tenet and Interstellar.
