Clicks unveils Communicator phone and Power Keyboard ahead of CES 2026
Clicks is bringing its physical keyboard lineup back to CES and has revealed its first smartphone, the Clicks Communicator, which the company bills as focused on "communication, not consumption." The Communicator features a tactile keyboard, a 4-inch OLED display, a 3.5mm headphone jack and expandable microSD storage up to 2TB.
It runs on Android 16 with hardware-level encryption. Despite Clicks saying it intends to leave "content capture" to users' primary devices, the phone includes a 50MP main camera and a 24MP front camera. It also supports NFC for Google Pay, Bluetooth and Wi‑Fi, and has a 4,000 mAh battery with USB-C and wireless charging.
Hardware touches include a fingerprint sensor built into the spacebar and a customizable Signal LED to signal notifications from specific people or apps. Clicks positions the Communicator as a secondary device for messaging, aligning with the trend toward minimalist or "dumb" phones, though the company notes the secondary-phone idea may be impractical for some users because it could require two plans and numbers.
The Communicator is available to reserve now for $399 and will rise to $499 on February 27. Alongside the phone, Clicks introduced the Power Keyboard: a QWERTY accessory with directional keys and a number row that attaches via MagSafe or Qi2. It has a 2,150 mAh battery to top up a phone and allows the device to flip into horizontal or vertical orientations.
