CMB SAG Meeting, 27 March 2026

The CMB SAG will hold a virtual community meeting on 27 March 2026 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm ET.

Space-based CMB data has transformed astrophysics, and the case for a fourth CMB space mission is strong. Since Astro2020 the CMB landscape has changed, and the white paper the CMB SAG is preparing will survey those changes and outline recommendations for how NASA should move forward. The meeting will discuss topics to include in the white paper and provide updates on NASA preparations for the mid-Decadal review.

The agenda includes an introduction, a programmatic update, the status of the white paper, and an open discussion. A presentation titled "A CMB Space Probe White Paper 2026 (PDF)" will be available.
