Coinbase Aims to Launch Unified Crypto, Stock and Commodities Exchange in 2026

Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong has outlined plans to build an "everything exchange" that would combine crypto, equities, prediction markets and commodities.

The platform would offer spot, futures and options products, effectively bringing multiple asset classes onto a single exchange.

Coinbase said the move would position it to compete directly with traditional brokerages as regulatory tailwinds and institutional momentum accelerate.
