Connor Storrie says Hudson Williams is saved as 'Huddy (Shane)' in his phone

Nbc: During his January 14 appearance on TODAY, Connor Storrie said his Heated Rivalry co-star Hudson Williams is saved in his phone contacts as 'Huddy (Shane).'

Storrie, who is promoting Heated Rivalry — the series that follows the romance between professional hockey players Shane Hollander (Williams) and Ilya Rozanov (Storrie) — said he typed that contact after their first Zoom read, after they connected via Instagram and exchanged numbers. Viewers have been captivated by both stars since the series was released in November 2025, and the groundswell of fan support for both actors has reached a fever pitch so far in 2026.

While it is currently unknown how Storrie is saved in Williams' phone, fans are holding out hope for an equally sweet nickname. In the same TODAY interview Storrie also said he pitched himself to a director at the 2026 Golden Globes on January 11; the director quickly changed the subject, and host Craig Melvin told Storrie, "I think you're going to be just fine."
