Controversial looksmaxxer 'Clavicular' in dust-up with Hulu and Disney over backstage footage
Hulu appears to be developing a documentary about Braden Peters, better known as Clavicular, and the project has prompted a legal pushback. Clavicular sent a cease-and-desist letter to Hulu and Disney’s general counsel after a pair of Hulu documentarians tried to capture backstage footage at the Feb.
12 Elena Velez fashion show during his catwalk debut. Producer Jennings Brown and director James Kristofik were in the backstage area and filmed as models changed into the designer garments. Clavicular recognized Brown, complained, and the filmmakers were removed from the scene.
The two men had recently held a Zoom meeting about collaborating on the documentary, which is overseen by Beth Osiek, Hulu’s VP of original documentaries and limited series. Brown, who is repped by WME, signed a first-look deal with Hulu in 2024, but Clavicular reportedly grew hesitant.
