Corey Parker, an actor and acting coach best known for roles on Will & Grace and in the Friday the 13th franchise, has died at 60. His aunt confirmed the death to TMZ; Parker passed away in Memphis after a battle with cancer. Parker launched his screen career with the 1984 horror film Scream for Help and appeared in Friday the 13th Part V: A New Beginning the following year.

He led the Fox sitcom Flying Blind opposite Téa Leoni, played a role on Love Boat: The Next Wave from 1998 to 1999, and had a recurring part as Josh on Seasons 2 and 3 of NBC's Will & Grace. Born in New York City on July 8, 1965, Parker began acting at age four in commercials.

He spent his final years living in Tennessee, teaching virtual classes for The BGB Studio in Los Angeles and running a monthly workshop in Nashville. A GoFundMe said he was diagnosed with "advanced stage 4 metastatic cancer" after hip replacement surgery in 2024 and raised more than $60,000; in a February update he described the illness as terminal and said he was preparing for hospice.
