People reports Winchester’s Coroner's Court ruled on Monday, Jan. 5, that Kayleigh, 38, and Christopher Coll, 45, died of carbon monoxide poisoning after being found in their campervan while staying at a cider festival in England.

The couple were discovered inside the campervan on Pound Lane in Hampshire at around 12 p.m. local time on Oct. 12, 2025, after returning from the New Forest Cider Festival, the BBC reported. The court heard a gas heater was reportedly found in the caravan, and the deaths were initially treated as “unexplained but not suspicious,” according to Hampshire Constabulary.

Steve Mood, the Coroner’s Court Officer, said the case was opened on Jan. 5 and “further investigations are now required before a full [investigation] takes place.” A GoFundMe for the family said the couple leave four children — Shyla, Alex, Kaizer and Emily — and has raised more than $30,000 toward a $35,000 goal to cover funeral costs; the page described them as “much-loved by everyone who knew them,” the BBC said. A full investigation will resume in court on July 22, per the Metro.
