The Corsair Vanguard Pro 96 wired gaming keyboard is now $160, a rare deep discount mere months after release. It’s a not-quite-full-size board that squeezes a volume dial, a 1.9-inch LCD and six macro keys into a compact layout, earning the description of being “one of the most feature-rich keyboards in a physical sense.” Under the hood it uses Hall effect technology with Corsair’s MGX Hyperdrive switches, whose actuation and reset points are adjustable across virtually the entire travel, from as low as 0.1 mm up to 4 mm.

Rapid Trigger is included too, and the pre-lubricated switches were described as smooth and snappy, making the keyboard among the fastest in its class; the reviewer singled out satisfying low-level bot play in Counter-Strike 2. There’s SOCD-type tech on board, though the reviewer did not rate its usefulness.
